While Gargoyles in Ultima Prime used the same magic spells that Britannians used, our Gargoyles didn’t undergo the Cataclysm and thus didn’t have to spend all that time ensuring the survival of their race. They have been studying and have mastered their own art of Magic called Mysticism. 

Since The Shattering, by pouring over recently uncovered ancient texts, the Gargoyles have discovered this lost discipline of magic. Mysticism consists of 16 spells of varying difficulty. Characters skilled in Mysticism are known as Mystics. The rankings below are the equivalent to Circles in the school of Magery for the purposes of all mana costs, casting times, and difficulty.
